We would love to be able to have enough vendors to create a night market in front of High Octane. These markets would be held the Fourth Friday June thru September. “Get Ready to Paint the Town in 2023 with the Painted Ponies Art Walk and Auction!” The reveal takes place this Saturday, February 4 at 11am at The Mews in Southern Pines.
This is the fourth annual Painted Ponies Art Walk and Auction! It is a favorite artistic, cultural event in our area and has become a “Must See” for people throughout the region. Fourteen Painted Ponies will line Broad Street, and various side streets, in Southern Pines from February 4 until April 5.
The live online auction takes place on Saturday, April 15. The auction benefits the Carolina Horse Park Foundation.

Artist Lineup for February SoPines Sessions. SoPines Sessions is a weekly Music Showcase Wednesdays 7-10pm in the Loft above Sunrise Theater. Every week Mary Stone interviews different artists and Frank from Locals Only Sandhills records three of their original songs and puts them on SoPines Scene Podcast the following week! To hear some of the artists we've already interviewed go to Spotify or Apple and search SoPines Scene Radio. This week Feb 1st we interview Clint Kelly, a singer-songwriter from Indiana who is new to our area. Clint has two styles, one is more upbeat and reggae and one is tear jerking country. Come out early to hear his originals and stay for the jam with our house band! Feb 8th William Nesmith Music is coming down from Greensboro to make us smile and laugh along with insane vocals and creative songwriting! For Valentine's Week let's have some sexy Sax with SaxDoctor/DjSaxy and a dance party the second set while Zach djs. Then the last Wednesday of the month is Feb 22nd. SoPines Sessions LIVE FROM THE LOFT will feature bands and artists brought to you by JGonzAudio and it might get loud!! Hope to see you one or all the Wednesday nights! There is beer and wine, Popcorn, snacks, sodas and more available and we suggest a $5 donation to the Sunrise for entry! We've got new artists asking to be featured each week and can't wait to share the lineup for March as well!
