The Mon Valley Boys Academy (MVBA) is excited to announce the second year of its Summer Academy 2024, a five-week, faith-based program designed to equip young men with essential academic and life skills.

The program will run from June 17 to July 21, 2024, at Penn State Greater Allegheny campus, located at 4000 University Drive, McKeesport, PA.

Program Overview:

Dates: June 17 – July 21, 2024 (excluding June 19 and July 4)
Time: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: Penn State Greater Allegheny campus, 4000 University Drive, McKeesport, PA 15132

The Summer Academy is tailored for Mon Valley young men entering grades 9 or 10 this fall.

Participants will engage in a structured learning environment that includes academic enrichment in math and reading, athletics, field trips, college visits, and cultural excursions.
The program is designed to foster character development, discipline, and integrity.

Key Benefits:
▪️Boys will earn up to $690 through attendance and participation.
▪️The program offers a safe, structured learning environment.
▪️Participants will strengthen their academic skills and build character.
▪️Free transportation and meals are provided.
▪️The entire program is free of charge to families.
