Alla Famiglia, a Pittsburgh must try 🍝

This was my third experience at Alla Famiglia, and it was nothing short of special. Thank you to for gifting me this experience!

We tried some new menu items this time around, including the rack of lamb and the pork chop. The pork chop was our favorite, and it was absolutely FANTASTIC. It’s served with a warm peach chutney and sweet potato brûlée. 10/10.

As usual, we *poured* their famous chili oil on both of our pasta selections. The cavatappi alla vodka pairs so well with the cacio e pepe - make sure to order both! For dessert, get the apple dulce cheesecake and thank me later. Maybe the best cheesecake I’ve ever tried?!

Alla Famiglia so kindly gifted me their holiday gift box filled with their delicious sauces and my favorite chili oil! You can snag these by the hostess stand or on their website, just in time for the holidays. 🍝🎁✨

If you’re visiting the burgh for the holidays and want to experience this, be sure to book a res! ❤️

pgh foodie date night with a view 🍕🌆🍨

Some Lawrenceville gems, perfect for your next casual date night out💎:

🍕 Pizza Lupo () - this was my first time trying Lupo and it was 10/10. Absolutely loved it. The 10th warder pizza was our favorite. Can’t wait to come back.

🍨 Millie’s Ice Cream () - a classic pgh ice cream shop. Their peanut butter pie ice cream was insannnne. Always love the smores ice cream too.

happy sunday & go steelers ✨

A morning well spent volunteering at The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank with my gals 🫶🏼

I had such an amazing time at this morning volunteering with my girls and . 💞 Our volunteer group was able to pack 1,500 boxes of canned goods for the Johnstown community.

While has most of their volunteer slots filled through December, there is currently a huge need for monetary donations.

Visit the donation link in my bio or text ANAEATS to 50155 to help feed local families in need!

Fall brunch date at The Breakfast Spot🎃🥞

The Breakfast Spot invited me to check out some of their new fall breakfast/brunch specials, so I brought Jourdan along for a little brunch date. Here’s some of the items we got to try:

🍎 Apple Pie French Toast (our fav bite!)
🥞 Pumpkin Spice Pancakes
✨ French Toast Flight
🍌 Banana Pudding Iced Coffee
🍟 Loaded Fries (cheesesteak & chicken cheesesteak)
🍉 Watermelon Lemonade
🎃 Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee

If you’ve a sweet tooth like me, you’ll absolutely love this spot. If the sweet stuff isn’t your vibe, they have great savory options too. Check this spot out next time you need a new breakfast spot in your rotation. 🥞

Quite possibly the best French onion soup I’ve had in the Pittsburgh area 🫢 Anthos can do it ALL.

‼️They told me they’ll only have this available on special for one more day (I’m crying). So if you wanna try it, you’ll have to get there tomorrow (10/25/25) before it sells out. I would literally sign a petition to bring this back once it’s gone. 😆 Anthos, PLEASE.

BUT, if you happen to miss out on this quick special, head over to Amel’s on McNeilly Road. They have one of my next favorite French onion soups in the burgh. 🧅

One of my fav taco spots on the North Side 🌮

I’ve been loving El B***o () for years now, and I’m so happy their OG North Side location is back up and running after a fire shut them down back in 2023. Be sure to go show them some love now that they’re open again! ❤️

This place has something for everyone (vegan and vegetarian options too). My forever favorite menu item will always be their rolled tacos. They have the most satisfying crunch, and the fresh toppings add the perfect balance of flavor. I even found a new favorite menu item this time around: the carne asada fries! These were EVERYTHING.

Takeout is always good, but this place is definitely next level when you dine in. Seating is currently limited at this location, BUT they’ll be opening up their new upstairs dining room very soon, so there will be plenty more space available to dine in. Stay posted to their socials for updates on that!

Huge thanks to El B***o for the invite! 🌮

❗️*fyi the sauce on the burrito is their garlic habanero hot sauce, not mango*

A real gem on Mt. Oliver 💎

I finally got to visit Nick’s on Hilltop () last week with my brother, and we LOVED it.

We started off with the Troomy cauliflower, which has to be the best fried cauliflower I’ve ever had. I don’t even really like cauliflower like that, so I was really surprised by these. The Troomy sauce is the secret! If you see something on the menu that comes with that sauce, just order it. It’s that good.

The Troomy bowls were fresh & super flavorful. I tried the salmon troomy bowl and my brother had a version with steak. The steak was definitely my favorite (perfectly tender)! We tried a few of their seasonal cocktails, and they complemented the meal so well.

I need to come back here to try some of their sandwiches, loaded fries, and wings. The whole menu looks incredible. Thanks so much to for having us! We can’t wait to come back soon 🤤
