I was honored to once again volunteer my time to photograph the Outreach Teen & Family Services Connections Gala, at the Heinz History Center, in Pittsburgh, Pa. The event featured a powerful keynote by Tim Curry and hosting by Adam Crowley from 93.7 The Fan. It was a privilege to capture the energy of a community coming together to support such an important mission.

When I learned that Eli Heidenreich was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers this evening during the 2026 NFL Draft, I first couldn't believe what I heard and saw. From knowing him in high school to watching him get to play at Navy, I never would have thought I’d personally know a Pittsburgh Steeler.

After I heard the news, I knew I had to send him a message to congratulate him, but also felt the need to go back into my archives and pull these photos to pay tribute to his hard work. šŸ“ø šŸˆ

Eli has always been such an outgoing person and was beloved by everyone at Lebo. I’m very proud to have documented his old stomping grounds, and wish him nothing but the best moving forward.

Congratulations, Eli!

I’ll be honest—I’m a bit behind schedule. Between unexpected technical hiccups and the 'digital divide' here in West Virginia, progress has been slower than I’d like. I’m also currently sorting through more than 30 hard drives of data I’ve archived over the last decade. It’s a massive file reorganization project, but I want to ensure the best work makes the cut.

You may have noticed I haven’t been posting as much lately. I was waiting for clarification on social media guidelines regarding my work as a substitute teacher. As a school employee, it’s incredibly important to be mindful and professional about what is shared online, and I wanted to ensure I was following all protocols before diving back in.

Now that I have a clear understanding of those guidelines, you can expect to see a lot more content moving forward. I am confident I’ll have this portfolio wrapped up by the time I head to summer camp for the season! Thanks for your patience while I get this right. šŸ’»šŸ—„ļø

Substitute teaching in West Virginia is sometimes a rolling history lesson for me. A recent assignment took me out to Blacksville, W.Va.

Blacksville is located in an area where significant coal mining once took place-originally settled in the late 1700s, it’s a place where the landscape tells the story of early pioneers and the grit of the Monongahela River valley. Today, the town has a population of only 120 people.

I love that my ā€œofficeā€ changes every day, but the deep roots of these communities stay the same.

Yesterday marked the end of the season for the Morgantown Curling Club.

Today, I’m excited to share what’s next for me.

I’m honored to be stepping into the role of Media Director 🄌

In addition to continuing to photograph each event, I’ll be helping manage the club’s social media presence and assisting with a full website overhaul in preparation for the 2026–2027 season. I’ll also support additional media initiatives both during the off-season and throughout the year.

Documenting this club from the ice level all season has been a privilege. I’m grateful for the trust to now help shape how its story is shared moving forward.

The work doesn’t stop here — it just evolves, and I thank everyone for their support.

Tonight is the final meet of the season for the Morgantown Curling Club 🄌

I’m incredibly grateful to have photographed the team all season long — from the early draws to tonight’s last stones. It’s been such a privilege to document the strategy, the intensity, and the community that makes this club special.

I also have some exciting news about my future with them — but I’ll save that for tomorrow šŸ‘€

Stay tuned.
