Last night, my wife and I went to The Hollywood Theater in Pittsburgh to see Blade Runner! The last time I saw the movie was when I was 19, back in 1989. I didn't care for it then, but I found that I enjoyed it a lot more now that I'm older. I also got recognized again a couple times - I think that's 18 times last week!

Who else remembers these fruit-shaped candy containers from the 80s? They were made by Tom's Foods and contained fruit-flavored powder that was artificially flavored and colored. They always had a ring on the top that you could put a string through and wear it as a necklace. My sister always did that. These are my original ones from when I was a kid.

Last night I got to see The Dead Milkmen live in Pittsburgh - one of my favorite bands since the 80s! I got a photo with guitarist Joe Jack Talcum afterwards and got to tell him how much I enjoyed the show. He sang their biggest hit, "Punk Rock Girl". At the concert, they did a great cover of "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)"! I also got recognized by a bunch of my followers who were there as well.
