SHOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON — HIS FAMILY STILL HAS NO ANSWERS

THE MURDER OF EUGENE JACKSON
Duquesne, Pennsylvania — November 21, 2025

It was the middle of the day. Just after 2 p.m. when the call came in. Police rushed to the 2600 block of Duquesne Place, an apartment building in Duquesne. Inside, they found 61-year-old Eugene Jackson of Homewood, Pennsylvania, shot and killed.

The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit immediately took over the investigation. Authorities confirmed that all persons involved in the shooting have been identified — but as of now, no arrests have been publicly announced.

One news report stated that Eugene was shot and killed by his daughter’s boyfriend, but did not specify whether an arrest had been made.

The investigation remains open. The silence remains heavy. And Eugene’s family is left standing in the middle of unanswered questions — waiting for accountability, waiting for justice, waiting for someone to finally say what happened inside that apartment building on November 21st.
