POV: It’s the Summer of 2026 and you’re actually... present.

I’m calling it now: This is the Analog Summer.

We’re trading the infinite scroll for deep soul. We’re trading the "sip and black out" culture for clarity and genuine connection.

For a long time, I thought "socializing" meant a cocktail in one hand and my phone in the other. I was physically there, but mentally? I was miles away, chasing likes or buffering a buzz.

Not this year.

This is the summer of betting on ourselves. We’re choosing:

🦈 Real eye contact over "Double Taps."
🦈 Refreshing mocktails over regretful hangovers.
🦈 Meaningful conversations over mindless DMs.
🦈 Deep presence over digital performance.

The world wants you distracted. I want you hydrated, clear-headed, and completely dialed into the life you’re actually living.

The mess is still there, but at least we’re awake to navigate it.

Getting arrested at 31 felt like a wake-up call after years of being a 'perfect kid.' It forced a hard reset, leading to selling real estate and starting a podcast. What seemed like rock bottom became the catalyst for a complete 180, proving that even difficult moments can lead to incredible success and finding where you're meant to be.

I thought hitting rock bottom meant one big moment, but my reality was a series of lows in college. Strict upbringing met a party school, and the line blurred. Alcohol led to dangerous situations, including hospital visits and unwanted sexual activity. It's a miracle I'm here, and a reminder that recovery can be a long road with many wake-up calls.
