I have been frustrated with my wall & setup lately and wanted an easy and quick fix that was universal. As a photographer, a wall mount for backdrop paper and using larger rolls of paper is a must.

New Apple IPad...at least new to me 😂

Last weekend I was in the Apple Store getting my laptop factory reset, which I didn't know Apple does for free no matter the age of your computer. Good to know for those who shouldn't be performing such a task on their own.

When I was sitting there waiting for my computer, this giant screen in the back of the store was on a loop showcasing the new products and all I could do was admire the beauty and simplicity of the video.

I've always loved how Apple's products and branding have a minimal look and feel. I thought to myself, I'd like to try that for fun and see how it comes out.

I had the pleasure of meeting with an old friend yesterday I feel fortunate in life to have friends like Daniel. I have known Daniel for over 20 years! I first met Daniel when we were still kids starting off in Art School. He went to Pittsburgh Technical College and I went to the Art Institute. Sadly, the Art Institute is now gone.

What isn't sad is that still after 20 years I could rap with my friend like we never missed a beat. I had to let him know that I have been secretly...or not so secretly rooting for him these last 20 years. I followed his creative journey when he was with the agencies and now with his new venture.

I think of creative people like athletes, most of us work hard to learn skills and these skills build over time, and one day with a lot of hard work you become great at your craft. Then some people are "gifted" or have natural abilities. Daniel is the later.

Even when he was in college, he would be that guy who spent days drawing freehand and painting projects before transforming them into digital art, while the rest of us were slacking off or waiting till the last minute to start.

Most creatives now go straight to digital and miss that process that truly separates good design from quick simple solutions. Not Dan, his process is still true to the process...real art.

If you need the total branding package done right, Daniel is your guy!
