Hey.
I should probably introduce myself properly.

I’m Tori.

This page lives somewhere between who I was, who I am, and who I’m becoming.

There isn’t a niche here.
It’s just my voice.

You’ll see everyday thoughts.
Motherhood.
Womanhood.
Identity shifts.
Money stress.
Ambition.
Jealousy.
Healing.
Messy realizations.
The stuff you think about at night but don’t always say out loud.

Not for shock value.
Not for relatability points.

Just honesty.

I talk about what it’s like to be a woman in your 30s who’s still figuring herself out while carrying responsibility, expectations, and a life that doesn’t pause so you can catch your breath.

Sometimes I’m reflective.
Sometimes I’m funny.
Sometimes I’m annoyed.
Sometimes I’m soft.
Sometimes I don’t have a conclusion yet.

This isn’t a highlight reel.
It’s not a brand persona.
It’s not advice from a pedestal.

It’s me, thinking in real time.

If you’re here because you don’t fit neatly into a box…
If you’re rebuilding quietly…
If you’re allowed to want more without having it all figured out…

You’re in the right place.

Pull up a seat.
We’re not late.
We’re not broken.
We’re just human.

PS. I will absolutely overshare, laugh at myself, and post things that make sense only to me at the moment. Fair warning.

🖤

two books down already in 2026 📖

i used to love to read. i was the kid who got lost in books, who stayed up too late because “just one more chapter.” somewhere along the way, especially in motherhood, that version of me got quieter. time felt scarce. rest felt optional. joy felt like something to circle back to later.

this year, i’m finding my way back. picking up a book again feels familiar and new all at once. like remembering a part of myself that never really left, just waited.

i want my kids to see this. to see their mom taking time for something she loves. to learn that caring for yourself isn’t selfish, it’s normal. it’s healthy. it matters.

moms, this is your reminder: take the time. do the thing you love. you’re allowed to. 🤍

Hey so what are you all reading to get out of your Onyx Storm slump? Thanks 😭😭

Lately, this stage of my life feels less about proving something and more about allowing something.

Allowing myself to create from flow instead of pressure.
Allowing rest without guilt.
Allowing fun without feeling like I have to earn it first.

I’ve never been someone who was good at slowing down. I’ve always been in motion, always thinking about what’s next, what needs to be done, what I should be doing instead of what I actually need. Rest used to feel like laziness to me. Quiet felt uncomfortable. Stillness felt unproductive.

But something has shifted.

Getting back into reading has been a big part of that. It sounds small, but it isn’t. Sitting down with a book, letting myself disappear into someone else’s words, choosing presence over productivity… it’s been a way of coming back to myself. A reminder that I’m allowed to enjoy things just because they feel good. That my brain doesn’t always have to be “on.” That I don’t always have to be useful to be worthy.

As a mother, I’m learning that taking time for myself isn’t selfish. It’s necessary. It’s how I show up softer, more patient, more grounded. It’s how I model to my kids that their future selves matter too. That rest isn’t something you collapse into after burnout, but something you practice before you get there.

This season feels like choosing ease where I used to choose endurance. Choosing joy where I used to choose obligation. Creating because it feels good, not because I’m chasing validation. Loving myself in quieter ways. Letting life feel a little lighter.

I don’t know if I’ve ever let myself live like this before.
But I think I’m finally learning how.
