Big Buck Contest – Rifle Season
Hunters – Submit your pictures by Monday, December 1st at 5 p.m.!

There are two divisions for adults:
Local Division: Bucks harvested in Wood, Clark, Jackson counties
Statewide Division: Bucks harvested in other counties in Wisconsin.
The youth contest (age 16 & under) includes all Wisconsin geography.

First, 2nd and 3rd prizes in each category are gift certificates in the amounts of $100, $50 & $25. Deer must be harvested this year by a subscriber or a family member.

Submit a picture of your buck to [email protected] and include the following information:
β€’ Name of hunter, phone, email
β€’ Date/time harvested
β€’ Approximate location of harvest (i.e. township)
β€’ Number of points
β€’ Inside spread in inches.

Crossroads Church is hosting their annual Free Thanksgiving Day meal on Thursday, November 27th. If you would like a meal, please contact the church by emailing [email protected] or by calling the church office at 715-884-2665.

Crossroads is taking requests for delivery to your home in Pittsville, Vesper, or Arpin areas. Or you can schedule pickup or dine in at Crossroads Church, 5467 1st Ave in Pittsville. Pickup will be assigned at a specific time, and dine ins will begin at noon.

Please make all requests by this Sunday, November 23rd.

This meal is such a blessing to many in our community! To help volunteers serve everyone efficiently, Crossroads kindly asks that no special requests are made this year. Thank you for your understanding and support. πŸ¦ƒπŸ˜Š

It's National Recycling Day! ♻️ Here are five fun facts you may not know:

1. Aluminum cans can be recycled and put back on the shelf at your grocery store in just about two months.

2. One ton of recycled cardboard saves about nine cubic yards of landfill space.

3. Only 23% of disposable plastic water bottles are recycled.

4. Glass can be recycled and re-constructed an infinitw amount of times.

5. Bottles and their plastic caps should be recycled together. It prevents contaminants from entering the bottle, or spillage of any contents in the bottle.
