Shoutout to new local member, Zac Laurie for bringing out his extremely rare right hand drive 1992 Toyota Crown hearse imported from Japan to display with the Graveyard Ghouls Hearse Club at the Des Moines Concours d’Elegance.
We were trying to find out what it says in Japanese on the rear quarter panel. Either the coach builder or mortuary company. Hearses are odd in general, and this one is the odd of the odd.

This is pure determination!
Chris & Laila Sixkiller of Sixkiller Funeral Museum were bound determined to get to the first annual Dead Moines Hearse Show this year. The first shredded tire and heater hose would’ve made most people give up and turn around. They got the repairs done and STILL made the 7.5 hour trip to the show in time to take home one hell of a nice trophy!
Funeral history museums are a rarity and very hard to come by so please check out their Sixkiller Funeral Museum.

Shout out to The Slaughterhouse Haunted Attraction & The Haunt for stopping by the Dead Moines Hearse Show at Monsterama Pubcade. Formaldehyde shots? I need one of those. I also heard there may possibly be more coffin rides available at the Slaughterhouse this year…
