ANNOUNCEMENT: WHY MY LOGO IS NOW PURPLE ✨
I want to clear something up, because a few people have asked—and honestly, it’s time I said this out loud:
Yes, I changed the color of my logo. And here’s why.
For the past few years, while I was trying to establish myself and my work, I ran into wall after wall—especially when I first launched inside a brick-and-mortar space in a community that wanted nothing to do with anything metaphysical. Herbs? No. Tarot? No. Astrology? Absolutely not. I was constantly told my offerings would “clash with the brand.”
Translation: You don’t fit here.
Meanwhile, I was learning markets, pop-ups, festivals, and social media—all at an age most people think you’re supposed to slow down. I had to rediscover the parts of myself I silenced for decades.
And I did.
The woman in my logo—the contemplative one with the hibiscus over her eye—became the symbol of who I am and what my work is about: ritual, sovereignty, intuition, and the deep feminine. And the hibiscus? That’s not aesthetic. That’s the Venus pentagram. The Magdalene current. The empowered divine feminine reclaiming what was buried.
But here’s what I NEED to say clearly:
Ritualistically Botanica exists because I am a botanica of teachings.
Deep wisdom.
Ancient metaphysical arts.
Self-discovery.
Healing.
Tarot.
Astrology.
Herbal knowledge.
Ritual.
Receipts from the oldest sources—long before certain books were pushed into the apocrypha and the rest were rewritten to suit empires.
I’m all about the origins.
The root.
The intention behind creation.
Because if something was born with sacred intent, that soul remains—no matter how much it gets twisted, censored, or bastardized across time.
And that’s the heart of my brand.
Now… back to the logo.
When I was still figuring out my public identity, a few well-meaning friends helped me set up pages and platforms under my name. Everything got linked, blended, and intertwined with other projects. None of this was malicious. We were all learning at the same time. They’ve since created their own beautiful brands.
But in the process, my original red hibiscus ended up scattered across multiple accounts—some I didn’t create and no longer control. Even I couldn’t tell where “I” was online anymore.
So this year, I made a decision:
I am stepping forward as Ritualistically Botanica—fully, clearly, and unmistakably.
Nothing about my work has changed:
• The contemplative woman stays
• The hibiscus stays
• The meaning stays
• The teachings stay
Only the color changed.
The red version represented my warrior era—fighting to be seen, heard, and understood.
But I’m not in that place anymore.
The logo is now PURPLE:
the color of sovereignty, insight, crown-chakra elevation, and spiritual authority.
The color of a woman who finally knows who she is and no longer asks permission to take up space.
From this point forward:
The purple hibiscus is my seal.
My work is authentic.
My voice is intact.
And Ritualistically Botanica is officially, firmly, and fully ME.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, walked with me, learned with me, and believed in me.
This next chapter is going to be powerful.
