Few days ago, I was looking for my drawings that I done in elementary school at my father’s apartment in Taipei. However, I couldn’t find them. My father said that he lost them when we moved. I want to cry.

One of my elementary school drawings was published in UC Berkeley school newspaper in 1990s. At that time, someone posted on the school newspaper and credited to someone else. 🥺 I wish my father had kept it for me. At the back of the drawing, I signed my name. My drawing won 5th place in my elementary school 北師專附小 at 5th grade. The topic school gave to us in semester / annual in-classroom drawing was to draw a propaganda of “Keep Secret from Spy” 保密防諜. Because I was a little kid, I drew a kid hiding a Lollipop at his back, while facing a secret agent putting his index finger on his mouth.

Wow! This year’s Oscar animation nominees are all so good. All of these animations made me crying. It’s so hard to predict the winner. If I really have to guess the winner, it is probably “The Wild Robot”.
