one of my fav outfits ever:

jacket: thrifted (it’s from the 90s)
top: cropped tube top from
denim: curve love denim
sandals: voss ii (discontinued)

thinking about music, love and if others feel the same. every time I’m out in a crowd of people I wonder how many people truly feel loved and if it’s part of their lives.

if the person who stopped to take a photo right next to me, the restaurant staff, the owner of the record shop I bought 82837474 records for my vinyl collection, if the person who took my photo found it annoying that I asked (probably)…

then I wonder how many of us come across people who are truly devoid of empathy but are the biggest fakers and are just waiting on their moment to pounce to drain the light from you. such a scary thought that comes to me often.

i used to find it a curse that I can remember all my feelings in photos I take (not used to I still do lmfao) because it’s added intense pressure on me & I never end up sharing anything.. but this is IG and it’s not that serious lmfao so here I am sharing pics I didn’t want to share at first just because I can and I should

although I grew up in country, I’m a city girl at heart. there’s no privacy being from a small town, I know it seems contradictory but it makes sense. you are less likely to come across people youre tryna heal from being in a big city & you’re more likely to meet cool people who are open to knowing you w/o the pressure of chisme that comes with small towns.

social anxiety doesn’t know me in a big city. I feel so free in a crowd without the need to perform cuz I’ll probably never see any of the people I come across on the metro again, or the street.

leaving your home town can be scary but what’s more scary is never going, out of fear of the unknown or worse, pressure/doubt from people around you who “care”.

as a Capricorn, the thought of complacency scares tf out of me. I’ve grown to love failure as much as reward because I learn twice. being close minded isnt part of the brand. the girls don’t wanna see that.
