This restoration is giving me fits. The paper is so fragile. I'm using Nori paste with kozo tissue, and also an archival tissue from Lineco. I'm almost finished with page repairs. Next up is sewing the signatures. It's surprising how thick the original thread was. This time Keats' letters will be sewn with a 35/3 linen thread, unwaxed, unbleached, and a lot thinner than the original thread. I dislike the original endpapers--a mucky brown. And since it's my book, I will probably find something romantic instead. 📚💕🎨
