Just a little view for everyone out there on both sides of the fence. You can fling jabs and jokes back and forth. You can feel strongly about one side over the other. You can be adamant in your opinion that your outlook is correct and everyone else who disagrees has to be completely blind and ignorant.

After Tuesday comes, I am sure either way, we won’t hear the end of it.

But, regardless of your banner color, don’t let politics destroy your personal relationships with people you have known your entire lives. I guarantee you that, no matter what you think, neither one of these two clowns will be the person having your back in an altercation, trying to save your life in an emergency, donating their money at your benefit if you become sick, hugging your loved ones if tomorrow is your last day, or drinking a beer with you to celebrate your life’s greatest moments.

Odds are many of the people who may push a different button will be there for all of those things.
