Congrats to Cindy Petretta, who just launched her campaign site for Santee School Board 🚀

Cindy’s spent nearly 30 years in Santee, raised her kids here, and has been showing up for this community long before she decided to run. Her new site tells that story, lays out where she stands, and makes it easy to get involved (or chip in a few bucks to help the campaign).

🚀 New site launch! Stoked to share the new home for Operation FurLove https://operationfurlove.org, a San Diego nonprofit doing remarkable work on a problem most people have never heard of.

When troops deploy, pets sometimes get left behind — and over time, those cats form colonies on Navy and military bases. Operation FurLove brings real compassion to the situation through their TNRx2 program (Trap, Neuter, Release, and Remove): humanely stabilizing colonies, fostering kittens into permanent homes, and partnering with local vets and organizations to keep cats safe.

It's a mission with surprising depth — there's actually a long history of cats serving alongside sailors as practical guardians of ships and supplies. This work continues that legacy with structure and care.
