I thought the photos I took last night wouldn’t be worth posting because my lens kept fogging so I didn’t upload them until today….and WOW the fogged up lens gives such a vibe to the photos 🥹 What do you guys think? Do you like this style photography?

So this was my first time doing an event shoot, which was a birthday party. The mom requested candid style photos with a few group photos. The weather was terrible, the thunder was loud, wind was crazy, the lightning alarms went off and the clouds were rolling in but I GOT THE SHOTS! We left just in time 😅 would you book a photographer for your birthday party?

Nico’s mom here and I had to post and brag about what a good kid Nico is! Nico had a love for dirt bikes at young age which led to his older brother wanting to ride. Nico has been riding for 8 years and Julian has been riding for 6 years. Nico outgrew his dirt bike and Julian’s got a gas leak so they haven’t been able to ride.
Last night my husband decided to surprise Julian with an early birthday gift. (We plan to get Nico one for his birthday in December) but Nico’s reaction to his brother getting something that THEY BOTH love was truly heartwarming and I had to show you guys just glimpse of how kind hearted these boys are🥹 Julian is just as supportive of Nico’s photography and never says anything about the packages the camera gear, just supporting each other and I’m so blessed they have each other!

Ever wondered what it actually takes to master studio lighting? 💡📸
Today was such an incredible day learning the ropes from an amazing mentor Mitch Eiseman! We covered camera settings (F4.0 & ISO 100 on lock!), studio lighting setups on “Debra” the mannequin 😅, and then got to put it all into practice with a portrait session for my mom!
To top it all off, I even got gifted my very first studio light—safe to say all that learning completely knocked me out on the drive home 😴
