Every time I post this paint roller window cleaning trick, a professional window cleaner loses their mind.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are over here wondering why we’re pretending a paint roller is somehow different from the sponge-and-squeegee combo we’ve been dragging across gas station windows since Eisenhower was president.

The roller covers more glass, holds more cleaning solution, and makes quick work of big exterior windows. Then finish it with a squeegee and call it a day.

Is it the only way to clean windows? Nope.
Is it the fanciest way? Also nope.
Does it work ridiculously well? Yep.

Just don’t try this on your interior windows unless you enjoy explaining water spots on the curtains to your spouse.

Sometimes the best cleaning tools are hiding in the paint aisle.
