Well this is familiar, Hello and welcome back to Garb Garage. I know it has been a long time since a post has been made on this page. Which apologizes for, due to life being a drag half the time. Just had the thought of at least notifying an making this post that there will be changes for the better soon. Long of short, this page will primarily be used as a YouTube portal for the YouTube channel of same/similar name sake. (Garb Garage) The idea of running a primarily just Volvo Garage in this region I see isn’t a brilliant fit, especially with clients who seemingly don’t value other’s time. Besides that, I will still be working on the personal projects that I have accrued from the last update on page; along with other misadventures that come our way. I do appreciate the ones that have stuck around this long an I can not promise, but I will try better.

Well over a few months time, its done. Björn the Volvo 940 wag has gone through a lot but finally together.

Bit of a lazy day at the shop doing some painting and cleaning up on some parts. Got the 940 grill painted up to get Sven back to what he was before his accident.

Well, I do apologize for everyone that follows this page for the lack of content lately. With the main job being what takes over the majority of my time. post will be really sporadic until a set schedule for the page is set. Along with setting up content to film for the page and channel which is this years goal. I’ll try to keep up with you guys best i can and hope to see you around.

It has been awhile having a customer vehicle in the shop and this one was interesting. A Ford Focus wagon, kinda odd to see anymore. Customer wanted it looked over and have the front brakes done along with an oil change to get it back on the road again. Yet another satisfied customer coming out of Garb Garage.

Now, with how rare flat hood Volvo 240 stuff is there is no aftermarket options for their grills. So here we are doing the Frankenstein mash of two grills recently purchased to create one. Taking the more structurally sound one and repairing what parts are broken. Which the third photo shows the mounting tabs that will be replaced to secure the grill to the radiator support. More progress will be shown along the way. (Hopefully we can post more persistently over the next few months for the ones following.)

Well finally getting around to some much needed time for the projects last night, this here is Dino Steve’s 1980 242 GT. The car sat for some time so the rear tires went flat so some spares were thrown on. Then starting the painting process. Keep posted to see what kinda theme is going on up front.

Another happy customer in the shop last night. Servicing the rear brakes on a 2011 Volvo C30, and replacing then with some lovely genuine Volvo brake pads and rotors per customer request.
