Just welcomed a sweet sounding Rhodes to the studio. Direct into the 1965 Ampeg B12, or DI through our Motown or Abbey Road tube preamps, this thing is sweet!

Running the new Heritage Audio Lang PEQ-2 through the paces. Tried it on kick, snare, OH, bass, multiple vocals, vocals, electric guitar, and clarinet. I want another one lol.

Setting up for the first of two bands in the studio this week. Mic’d drums, and set up an isolated scratch vocal/guitar station. Running bass through a Motown-style tube DI, and adding a channel from an Ampeg DI for some grit. We’ll get it dialed in tomorrow. I love what I do😎

Had a blast tracking reggae last night! Need a traditional reggae snare/timbale sound? Tweak your 1962 Ludwig Supraphonic and pass it through and SPL transient designer, through a Heritage Audio Motorcity EQ to my Trident 68. Sounds great!

Tracking drums and guitar tonight with .force.energy. Digging the SM7B on the floor tom, TG1 limiting on overheads, and Chandler Limited RS 124 compression on guitar. These guys are good!

Although we rely on our Trident 68 console, a really nice clean sounding console with sweet cool, musical eEQs, we have more options to get the sound you want.

Want that Motown sound? We can track through our vintage (1965) Ampeg B12n, through an Acme Audio MTP66 pre amp, then through our Motorcity Eq. There’s nothing else like that low end with the sound of Jamerson on bass.

Want that Beatles sound? We have two Chandler Limited REDD 47 microphone preamps and two RS124 compressors, perfect for dialing that tube sound from EMI Abbey Road in the 60s.

We’ll reamp each track through these to get that vintage sound…the results are so amazing!

Two days recording acoustic guitar and vocals…the beginnings of an amazing LP!

Studio recording and live sound! We’re booking studio time for June and beyond, and have some openings if anyone needs live sound/PA.

The studio is centered around a 24 channel Trident 68, a good sized quality mic locker, a nicely sounding tracking room, and a nice selection of outboard effects.

Live sound is with an Allen Heath digital mixer, QSC mains, and a selection of monitors.
