My latest video created for Negative Tendencies.

The song is a mash-up of the Jim Carroll Band’s “It’s Too Late” and Jefferson Airplanes “Somebody to Love”.

I’ll leave interpretation to you, but highlight at its core it’s a commentary on loss of innocense/love and disillusionment (with lots of subtexts). Of course with any art the message and interpretation is with the audience.

Wrap dinner for this visit on the dry wells documentary.

Our final round of shooting on our Dry Wells documentary took us to Candys home where she has 3 dry wells after the arrival of big Agra such as Reznick and J. Lohr.

These big vineyard growing operations have exponentially grown and are drawing from the Paso Basin. Simultaneously local residents and family farms wells started and are increasingly going dry.

While visiting Candys home, we had the honor of a visit from Harold Eades, a water diviner. We were able to capture his process of using divining rods in search of water.

McGinty's Ascent Productions and ShadoWalker Media onsite interviewing Carol Rowland (also interviewed in Water & Power: A California Heist). Her well has been going dry and her beautiful property is severely water rationed (eg no more gardens, short baths, limited laundry, and drying trees). The remarkable correlation to surrounding Big Agra growth and the depletion of her wells is a captivating story that will be discussed in our dry Wells documentary.

We chose a blue key light to emphasize the issue of water. Look for more reels to come as we go into post production on this segment of The Dry Wells of Templeton:a Tragedy of the Commons.

Some Drone Video of 4 private reservoirs on one of many Justin Vineyards - A Resnick (Big AG) Property. These reservoirs evaporate in the hot and arid climate of the area.

These reservoirs are pumped from overdrafted public basins. Their neighboring properties whose residential wells are drying up since the Big AG growing boom hit the area of Templeton and Paso Robles.
