How Badass Bitch PR Was Born

Don’t ever think for a second when you plan something it will ever work out. This is how Badass Bitch PR was born.

What started as a dream to work as a feature writer and share people’s stories was quickly replaced with the fast-paced world of Public Relations. It only took one individual who took a chance on a fresh out of college girl, to introduce her to this crazy industry.

Unlike some of the other diversions, this one was the best thing that could have ever happened. Who knew there would be a natural under this tough mama who busted her butt in college. But there I was working for a boutique firm with no PR experience pitching to national trade publications. Fast forward two years later and I was ready to venture on my own.

The thrill of creating and implementing ideas for clients thrilled me while the constant pressure of promoting clients brought about more thrills then stress. But after a while it was time for a rebrand. Enter Alchemic Creations who whipped my butt into shape. After months of analyzing my thoughts, my wishes, my goals, and ambitions my brand came to light.

We had 2 You Are Enough workshops in 2019. 9 Youth and 16 adults attended the workshops. Our Spring Fashion Show had 45 models and the Fall Fashion Show had 36 models. In addition, I Am Phenomenally Enough Scholarship Fund is sending 4 individuals to body positive events in Seattle, San Francisco & New York City for 2020.

All I can say is wow, yesterday we had our first Curvy Chic Closet Foundation's You Are Enough Adult empowerment workshop. My vision became a reality. Earlier this year, we hosted our first youth You Are Enough empowerment workshop in May. Yesterday was time for adult participants to take time for themselves and to realize that they are more than “enough”. We have an amazing team of community sponsors and individuals that devoted their time and resources and I want to take the time to say THANK YOU! Without their support this event would not have been possible.
