It really surprised me how A&S found me through hashtags here on IG. With this platform being saturated with reels, one would think that hashtags are a thing of the past. But I guess not! There is hope for a photographer like me who's not into working with this platform's algorithm, haha!

As an artist/photographer, I highly value every avenue and space where I am allowed to be fully creative. In this field, that only is possible when couples trust me throughout the whole process. So far, I've been blessed with amazing couples who have trusted me with my creative visions.

With A&S, not only did they give me their full trust, but gifted me with their friendship. The moment I first met them, we all just clicked and vibed! We shared stories and laughter throughout our time together.

The visibility on the day of their elopement was unexpected; we ended up not seeing Mt. Rainier as she was covered in a blanket of smoke and cloud. But we sure did make the most out of the beauty that we were surrounded with! With their complete trust, we still created some amazing photos.

When we parted ways and I got to my lodging, I checked the weather for the next day and got a good reading! I remember them mentioning they wouldn't fly back home to TX for another day so I texted them to see if they were down to have another go at it, completely unplanned. I was all for it since I'm a spontaneous person. And sure enough, we were blessed with an amazing view!

A&S, thank you for your complete trust and adventurous spirits, and mainly for your friendship. We'll definitely hang out again soon 👐

Flying down to Redding CA to document and capture a magnificent elopement with Mt. Shasta as the background definitely was an adventure elopement I was so stoked to cover! Although, sometimes mother nature can be a bit moody...

The day of the David & Lina's wedding, we all woke up to a bit of snow starting to trickle down and picked up a bit more as the day went on. As much as everyone wanted to drive down to the original ceremony location, David & Lina had to make the hard choice of not driving down for everyone's safety and comfort.

Which prompted everyone to all get together and setup in the backyard as the backup plan! Which turned out amazing and intimate :)

Sometimes, plans may have to change. Especially if you do decide to go for an Adventure Wedding, since mother nature can bless us with different types of weather along the way.

So it's always a great idea to have a backup plan, and as your photographer I'll be there to help maneuver things with you where we can make the most out of the situation we're in. We're in this adventure together!

At the end of the day, it's all about the two of you getting together into becoming one. And heck I will make sure we create and capture amazing photos together!

Going over these photos just reminds me how this micro/intimate wedding felt like a large one. Not in a sense where there's a lot of people, but because of how everyone's emotions magnified and filled the entire day.

Like what they say: "People may forget what you've done for them, but people will never forget how you made them feel." And definitely, this wedding has drawn me in with how it made me feel.

Thanks B&J for having me tag along, witness, and capture your intimate yet emotion filled day! This day definitely was memorable even for me 🙌

The PNW weather is always unpredictable. When it comes to planning a shoot here especially in the coast, is not just about being prepared, but you also have to be a risk taker and play along with what mother nature has in store for you. I think it's a matter of making the most out of the moment.

When I shot E&G's engagement, I kept them updated about the weather and had to change our start time multiple times because we were trying get as much good light as possible. But when we arrived at our location it was foggy and cloudy; not only that, but the rain joined in on the fun as well. It sure was a mixture of fluctuating weather conditions all throughout the shoot, but we sure did make the most out of it!

Appreciate you both E&G for being risk takers and for being so down to try new crazy things with me 🙌

I've learned to embrace my so called "creative frustration". While that may sound negative, my perspective sees it in a positive light. I see it more as a challenge and an avenue to learn and explore.

I've learned to channel my frustration into motivation, and push my curiosity to experiment on different styles & techniques.

People may think that being creative is a gift that naturally reveals itself; but from my experience, it's an adventure. An adventure that is sparked by curiosity and relentless pursuit of being better than who I was yesterday.

So to my couples, I am thankful for where you have lead me in this creative journey. I would not have discovered this beautiful side of art in the form of human chemistry and romance if it wasn't for your trust and willingness to explore with me!

And the journey goes on, let's go!

While I do love going on adventures and finding epic and breathtaking locations for elopements, sometimes I don't mind shooting indoors and challenging my mind to be more creative; hence this cool aquarium wedding ceremony!

I try to push myself to think outside the box and see where my creativity will lead me. Sometimes it can get frustrating if what I envision doesn't fully play out, but I take that frustration and turn it into a creative challenge for me to work on and experiment with. Every shoot definitely is a learning experience.

Learned a lot of tricks from shooting this Seattle Aquarium Wedding! Definitely made the most out of it 👐

Even though being an RN never really was my career of choice (heck I don't even look like one lol), I'm glad that I get to be a part of such a humbling and thrilling profession.

And in all honesty, I probably would have stopped working as a nurse a few years ago. You may ask, what made me stay? Simple, it's the people I work with. It's my coworkers that turned into good friends. --- and good friends turned into clients, lol JK! Also an awesome perk for being a photographer on the side in a female dominated profession :)

It truly was an incredible experience capturing my coworker & now good friend's engagement photos. Also finally meeting their fur baby! Julie & Ian, I am so excited to witness the start of the new chapter of your lives together & document your big day next year! 👐

We're heading in to the fall season, wohoo!
That's the beauty of living in the PNW, it's always beautiful whatever the season may be. Summer may be over, but I also love the gloomy and foggy side of this season and is my second favorite weather to shoot in.
Kailey & Tyler definitely made the right choice moving here in Oregon, coming all the way from Pennsylvania. During our photoshoot we were welcomed by the typical PNW weather, gloomy and a little bit of drizzle. But hey, we sure made the most out of it!
The PNW gained two beautiful souls. Kailey's laughter and bubbly personality, will for sure light up places in this upcoming gloomy weather, and Tyler's calm & collected personality will for sure make every stranger feel welcomed.
You guys are lovely!

I've been keeping this exciting news a secret this whole time, but finally I get to share it with you all! *Drum Roll*... My NEW Website is finally up and live! Wohoo!
Throughout this whole process of getting into wedding photography I found the 3 core foundations of my brand: Intentional, Relational, & Creative. --- I find these foundations perfectly line up WITH doing Elopements & Intimate Weddings.
I still will be doing full weddings, but will be focusing most of my time & energy pursuing, learning, & improving my craft in this field. I am so stoked to see what this journey brings!
I had such an amazing experience shooting this adventure elopement a few weeks ago in Wyoming! You can read more about it in my new website's blog page so make sure to check it out and drop a comment as well! Let's connect 😁
Also I'd like to hear your thoughts, do you plan on doing an elopement, intimate wedding, or a traditional wedding? And in one word, describe why by commenting down below. 👐

Portland is known for it's many names, one of them being Bridge City. When Edith & Lance told me that they kinda dig the city vibe for their engagement photos, in an instant I thought of Portland Bridges!
I rarely do city/urban photos, but after doing their engagement photos, it made me want to explore it more. 👐

I have noticed that my shooting style definitely has evolved throughout the years. Incorporating adventure and documentary style photography into weddings has allowed me to become more intentional and relational with how I shoot. This also allows me to better get to know my amazing couples. I have grown in not only taking better photos but better telling their stories.
