On February 3rd, 1992, John E. Volungis Jr. was was standing on the edge of a brand-new life when he was murdered in his duplex in Worcester, Massachusetts.

John was scheduled to leave the next morning to begin six months of active military duty, a step toward the life he had been dreaming of. But, what happened instead is something that no one has ever been able to fully explain.
