New episode on ArtsWatch. Delighted to catch up with co-directors Laura Lo Forti and Damaris Webb of Vanport Mosaic which turns 10 this year! Together through mutual respect and friendship have created a truly multidisciplinary organization that celebrates art, activism and history year-round and in their two-week festival. This year it runs May 17th-June 1st. Damaris' new solo work PRECIPICE kicks off the festival at Third Rail Repertory Theatre and closes June 1st with Chisao Hata's collaboration with Resonance Ensemble.

The "memory activism" festival, established to tell stories of the lasting cultural effects of the 1948 Vanport Flood, continues with a rich tapestry of music and theater. Dmae Lo Roberts talks with the Mosaic's leaders and co-founders.
