I am disturbed by an email I received today indicating that one of my original Christmas songs does not meet the eligibility criteria for monetization, resulting in my distributor removing the entire album from Meta's platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. It is disconcerting to see an original song being removed, while content that is harmful and explicit, such as recordings of suicides and adult material, seems to be tolerated on this platform. I urge Meta to reexamine its content moderation policies to ensure a safer and more equitable environment for all users.
