For the Love of Music, Sam Krulewitch Studio

Sam Krulewitch is a local music teacher in Portland, OR. He is an Oberlin College ('07) Graduate, with three years teaching experience. I teach kids, teenagers, and adults to play the piano, guitar, and bass.

I have twenty years of experience on the piano, and nearly a decade of professional experience in touring and recording bands, of every conceivable genre. This experience, coupled with my classical piano background, allows me to tailor custom lesson plans for every student, of every age, based on a clear mutual understanding of their goals. Of course, if you or your child is a beginner, I have a successful, standard pedagogy established to get a new player a comfortable grip on the piano. But for the intermediate or advanced student, I can help you develop and achieve your goals, whether they be admittance to a music conservatory, broadening your perspective and appreciation of your favorite music, or starting your own rock-and-roll (or funk, or jazz, or pop, or metal, or country) band. So we just had our Inaugural Spring Recital!

A special thank you to all the kids that participated, and to their families. Everyone was amazing! It's been a real blessing to be able to work with everyone these past few years, and I hope to continue for years to come!
