Superheroes come in all shapes and sizes, but 7-month old Miakoda Leia Conforth, dressed as Princess Leia from Star Wars, was undoubtedly one of the tiniest (and most adorable) during Day 1 of Portland's Wizard World Comic Con at the Oregon Convention Center. Here's photos from yesterday: http://bit.ly/1d2XkEI and if you'd like to see more, check back later tonight for Saturday's photos.

A fun moment caught by Bruce Ely after Nicolas Batum scored at the buzzer in garbage time to give himself a triple-double. Check out Tim Duncan's glare! Not quite as bad as Ricky Davis' deliberate missed shot to get his own rebound, but the Spurs probably won't soon forget it. BTW, Blazers win, 115-105. Check out the rest of the photos here: http://bit.ly/HCdEE7

Despite Portland's 104-91 loss to the Phoenix Suns tonight, it's a long, long season. They might not go 81-1, but don't lose hope yet, Blazers fans! Photos from Bruce Ely at the US Airways Center in Phoenix: http://bit.ly/1iwiyhQ
A tale of two halves for sure during the Ducks' win over UCLA. After coming back out from the locker room tied, they held the Bruins scoreless for the rest of the game. Is this the year they win it all? Ponder whilst viewing a great set of pix by Bruce Ely and Thomas Boyd: http://bit.ly/1aMlZg9
No need to board up your homes and watch zombie movies for lessons on what NOT to do. The Zombie Apocalypse hit Blue Lake Park today during a 5K run, but it was all in good fun. Makeup artists and untold pints of fake blood helped transform hundreds of the living into the undead who then chased the runners. Faith Cathcart was there to help get you into the Halloween spirit: http://bit.ly/1dc9PAZ
