Sunday, July 16: Holly Berry Prints, 11am-4pm
Holly is a self-taught printmaker, based in Portland, Maine. She shares, "It's a hobby I picked up a couple years ago while my kiddo was napping, that has now evolved into a bit of a passion. I’m inspired by vibrant colors, intricate line work, bold patterns, and flowers—which you’ll see a lot of in my prints. I love how versatile this art form is, you can churn prints out with a wooden spoon on your coffee table, or in a studio with a press. I fall somewhere in between, using a little press… on a coffee table. Each print varies slightly from the next, and is an original piece of art, handmade for you, from me — with love!"
We love our four-legged friends over here on Fox Street! 🐾 Made even cuter when modeling these new bandanas from Tealight Studios. Pop over and treat yourself and your pup too!

Claire Loon Baldwin is an illustrator, designer, and story teller inspired by the surreal, intricate beauty of nature. She shares, "Between 2012 and 2018, I worked in Glacier National Park, North Cascades National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and the redwoods of northern California. I worked as everything from a housekeeper to park ranger, and everywhere I went, my sketchbook came along. The biodiverse landscapes I explored, and self-discovery I experienced made me the artist I am today. In 2018, I created Grand Canyon National Park's official centennial poster series. Since then, I've worked with clients ranging from environmental education centers to oyster farms. My other creative endeavors include writing and illustrating a Young Adult novel reimagining Thumbelina, and making mushroom-inspired ceramic sculptures. I live in Brunswick, Maine."

“As a pastry chef and floral designer, I am well versed at making lovely fresh flower arrangements as well as delicious sweet treats. I especially love to combine these two passions, using flowers and herbs in my sweet desserts. But growing things? In the ground? Never my strong suit. Nevertheless, I was determined to grow something from the ground up that I could use in my baking endeavors…I was successful with quite a few herbs and was able to develop recipes for them, some of which I am including here. They are all simple recipes that provide a little unexpected savory punch to your typical sweet pastry,” writes in Grow, Bake, Learn. Read more and find the recipes in Issue 56::CULTIVATE.
