Hey, we at Nationals! After winning multiple Gold ADDYs in Seattle this spring, Alpenrose’s "Keep Portland Small" campaign won an ADDY at the 2022 American Advertising Awards in the Animation, VFX & Motion Graphics category!

Big congrats to all our amazing artists who created this charming CG stop-motion style world, as well as our wonderful partners at CMD & Alpenrose for bringing us on the project!

As Portlanders, it brought us so much joy to represent a beloved brand in a city we love. Special shout out to the Columbia Gorge Model Railroad Club 🚂 for their help and inspiration!

We’re honored to announce Alpenrose’s ‘Keep Portland Small’ has won multiple Addy’s in Seattle last week; in particular, a Gold in Animation/VFX/Motion Graphics Elements of Advertising/Animation!

Thank you to all the amazing artists on our team who worked on creating the CG stop-motion style, as well as our wonderful partners at CMD & Alpenrose for bringing us on the project.

As a company built by Portland locals, it brought us so much joy to represent a brand we care about in a city we care about. An added bonus was being able to take field trips to view miniature train sets for inspiration! 🚂

Hinge is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a coordination and/or project management background in CGI. The ideal applicant will have team and project management experience in animation, visual effects, and/or post production as well as a strong working knowledge of one or more of the following production software packages:
Adobe Premiere
Adobe AfterEffects
Nuke
Maya
Unreal Engine
Project management software (ie Shotgun, NIM, fTrack, etc.)

Job duties could include (depending on experience):
Editing
Editorial deliverables
Motion graphics

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Access to reliable, high-speed internet and computer
Able to legally work in the US
Ability to work during normal business hours in Pacific time (US
west coast)

This is a remote position at this time, with the possibility of evolving into an in-studio role in our Portland, Oregon office.
