2026 Goals: My Main Focuses
1. HYDRATION
Water is something my body quietly asks for, and I’ve often ignored it. If it isn’t right beside me, in my car, or at work, I forget to drink it. This year, I’m choosing to listen. My goal is a minimum of 8 glasses a day—small, intentional sips that add up to better energy, clarity, and care. Hydration is my foundation, a simple way to show up for myself every day.
2. SKINCARE
I haven’t always been consistent with my skincare, but turning 40 in October felt like a gentle wake-up call—not out of fear, but self-respect. I want my skin to feel healthy, hydrated, and luminous. This season of my life is about softness and glow. I’m romanticizing my morning and evening skincare routines, turning them into quiet moments of care, presence, and appreciation for the skin that carries me through every chapter.
3. GO ON MORE WALKS
I lost touch with my body for a while, and while that’s hard to admit, it’s also where healing begins. My intention is to walk at least 6,000 steps a day or take a one-mile walk—rain or shine. Movement isn’t punishment; it’s medicine. Getting outside, breathing fresh air, and moving my body helps ease my anxiety and depression and brings me back home to myself.
4. EXPLORE NATURE & TRAVEL MORE
I live in the beautiful PNW, yet I’ve barely scratched the surface of what surrounds me. This year, I want to explore where I am—nearby trails, small towns, quiet views, and spontaneous day trips. Adventure doesn’t have to be far away or expensive. I also want to travel more with my family and partner, creating memories, collecting moments, and letting curiosity lead the way.
5. READ MORE
I’m making space for stories again. My goal is to read at least one book a month, starting with dusting off my Kindle and filling it with books that inspire, comfort, and challenge me. Since I spend so much time driving for work, I also want to lean into audiobooks—turning commute time into moments of learning, escape, and joy.
