Dreams realized for former Stevensville student - Bitterroot Star

Today a story of how helping these young kids I have helped make it into college has some lasting impact. From way out in the Bitterroot Valley in Montana I had covered a young man by the name of Carson Katen - of Stevensville. He made it to college football but was inspired to lead his life to do good- my "Pay It Forward" speech must have worked. Anyway today his Mom dropped me a line to thank me and to let me know he is headed to Harvard Medical School where he wants to work on Alzheimer's and other brain-related issues. Congrats to Carson and to his family and community and thank you for thinking of me.
