We just produced a video honoring Moira Hastings Fuller, recipient of the Claddagh Award, presented by the Maine Irish Heritage Center. Mary McAleney, President of Heritage Center Board, told us this: "You knocked it out of the ball park! The room was dead silence during the video and then erupted into a standing ovation!" She also mentioned we were fun to work with. Wow! Thanks MIHC and congrats, Moira Hastings Fuller!

Smith Atwood produces a variety of video programs and often works for lawyers and their clients. Having done so much legal work, we've come to realize there are two sides to every story.... like this one that at first seems odd. But when you understand it, well, the judge's decision makes sense.

Lawyer David Geffen says Jose Martinez, who is wheelchair-bound, was the only passenger not rescued when the California Disneyland ride broke down in 2009, and staffers failed to call the fire department to free him.

Lincoln (2012)

I saw the movie "Lincoln" last night. It portrays Lincoln in all his brilliance as a leader and tactician. It portrays Congress in much the same way most of us view Congress today....mired in politics, influence peddling, with a few good people trying to do the right thing. A wee bit long, but wonderfully acted and shot.

Directed by Steven Spielberg. With Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, David Strathairn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. As the Civil War continues to rage, America's president struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield and as he fights with many inside his own cabinet on the decision to emancipate the s...

By 2000 there were something like 36 listed in the phone book. Thru it all we've made a go of it. But now we are sorry to learn Maine Video Systems has closed. And so it goes.
