“Portland Unlocked"

I sell homes all over the Portland Metro area for my wonderful clients, and I have been given the unique opportunity to share my special city through the ADTV Network.

Set your DVRs or tune in to Portland's KPTV-12 tomorrow, March 28 at noon for my latest episode of Portland Unlocked!

This episode, I spent a gorgeous fall day at Providence Park watching the Thorns dominate the Houston Dash. I was granted full access to speak with head coach Rob Gale, hometown keeper Bella Bixby, and newest teammate, defender M.A. Vignola. Watching such an action-packed game from the sidelines was something I will never forget!

Next, TexPat friends joined me for a Texas-sized sampling of the best BBQ in town, compliments of legendary pitmaster, Ben Vaughn, at his new joint, Lil' Barbecue. This is the first of a new recurring segment where my favorite former Texans and I are on the hunt to satisfy cravings when we are missing our hometowns. Ben showed us the hospitality that Texas is known for.

Next stop- my latest listing, this time in the picturesque Laurelhurst neighborhood. Owner Will and his 3 corgis welcomed me into their stunning home, where I walked through the home and shared some tips for prepping an owner-occupied home (it is now pending after one week on the market, with two offers received).

After sharing with my viewers a restaurant where the food feels like home, then touring a beautiful home I listed, I headed to downtown Portland, in time for the lunch rush at Blanchet House, the shelter and cafe that serves an average of 1200 meals daily to anyone who walks in their doors. Steve Cook, Director of Strategic Initiatives, shared the history of this beloved organization that has been operating since 1952. We also talked about Bethanie's Room, their new shelter that houses up to 75 women per night. Relying on the generosity of volunteers and donors, without any local or federal funding, Blanchet House shows how Portland takes care of each other.

Home isn’t just where we live—it’s what connects us. It’s in the meals that bring us back, the spaces we create, the support we offer our neighbors, and the pride we feel cheering on our Portland Thorns.

Not only did we feast on the smokiest, mouth-watering vittles and sip some top notch cocktails, but we were in for a surprise- some of the best kolaches I have ever had.

Exciting news to share with you! I am the exclusive host of PORTLAND UNLOCKED, a new 30-minute real estate and lifestyle series that highlights the best of Portland, produced by the Emmy-nominated American Dream Network. The show will air locally TOMORROW, Sept 7, on KPTV12 at 12:30pm, and will stream nationally on AmazonPrime, FireTV, AppleTV and Roku.

Filming this premiere episode was incredibly fun from start to finish- it began with a tour of a $3,195,000 luxe, mid-century waterfront home on Lake Oswego, arriving by boat and leaving in a snazzy Mercedes convertible, compliments of my friends Freeman Motor Co. From there I met up with Andre Middleton with Friends of Noise, to walk through their almost-completed concert venue/recording studio, then took in a FoN show at Ethos . There I spoke with the talented Hardy Bourbon of Burbya and saw his performance along with other great up and coming artists. Next up was a day trip to Skamania Lodge, for my first ever ziplining adventure (!), disc & fling golf, cocktails on the patio, and a tour of their incredible treehouse cabins and 'glamping' tents (my personal favorite way to camp 😉). Headed to the Pearl District to meet with Marissa Wolf & Chip Miller, Artistic Directors at Portland Center Stage, where we chatted about how they connect with the community. Last but not least, Freeman Motors let me drive a Land Rover to the gorgeous Soter Vineyards for a tasting, as part of their first Sip n' Spin Passport Experience. They teamed up with 8 exceptional local wineries for special offers. Mortgage lender extraordinaire, Tammy Wittren, joined me and my friends, and gave some savvy advice for home buyers for our 'Mortgage Minute.'

If you or someone you know would like to have your home featured on the show, or know of a person, place, business or organization you would like to see spotlighted, send me a DM!

I know it's only August, and summer in Portland is absolutely glorious, but was daydreaming of last year's holiday season. Here's a little time-travel looking back on my third episode on ADTV, when I interviewed the legendary Raquel Coyote and toured Urbanite all decked out for the holiday season. Talk about a winter wonderland! Every inch of the huge lifestyle mecca was beautifully outfitted with all things festive. Can't wait to see all the local, unique, individual shops this December. Until then, Urbanite has plenty of gifts, thrifts, books, decor, wood furnishings, jewelry, candles, furniture, clothing, plants, housewares, art, and an incredible upstairs event space that's perfect for weddings, art shows, wine tastings, catered events, and.... watch parties! (more on that, coming soon!)

A little nostalgia watching these behind the scenes clips from my second episode of 'Selling Portland' on the ADTV Network, where I featured my good friend Lora's Beauty and her luxurious spa-quality soaps! I had fun learning about the process and got some hands-on experience too. After we worked in her studio, she hopped on her bike to take her Etsy orders to the post office, and I went to film my Hayden Island condo listing. I'm really enjoying being part of the ADTV family and how it really helps me connect with the people and places in my thriving city. A new show is on the horizon, stay tuned!

Just had a fun re-branding and headshot session this week with the FABULOUS Kristen Koors Photography! I am not a fan of cameras, and she made me feel so relaxed and I enjoyed every minute. KK also shot Oscar's graduation photos, which were amazing. Highly recommend her for updating your profile photos for work, social media re-branding, as well as events. And a big shout out to Jennifer Watson of Barnes International Realty for letting me use her stunning condo listings in Lake Oswego as a backdrop! Will post those soon, construction is almost completed.

919 NE Floral is where the action will be today! From 11-1:30 I will be in this 1960 time capsule. Whether you're looking to restore its mid-century flair or bring in a fresh, modern aesthetic, the bones are strong and the canvas is eagerly awaiting a new vision. I have a feeling the lucky person who will be the new caretaker of this Laurelhurst Rambler will be one of the visitors today. Don't miss your chance to own in one of Portland's most sought-after neighborhoods!
