It is not are intention to cancel any event that we organize for the community. But due to lack of support and ticket sales,
we will have to CANCEL THE MEMPHIS FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE ON MARCH 16, 2019.
Our only regret is that there is not a lot of support coming out of the community. We bring events that we have been doing in other city around the nation for the past 10 to 15 years and every year they grow to be bigger and bigger and those are dreams for the events that we bring to Memphis for the Family Unity Concept. But we need Must have the support of the Community.
IF YOU BOUGHT A TICKET TO THE FATHER DAUGHTER DANCE, YOU CAN GET YOUR REFUND. REFUNDS TAKE 2 - 3 WEEKS TO BE RELEASED.

FYI: Everyone that receives housing, please be aware that there is a HUGE possibility of being no funding after February. So the HUD and Housing authority MAY NOT be able to pay landlords on March 1, 2019. Due to this government shut down. Anyone receiving SNAP benfits, please spend your benefits wisely this month. February benefits were given early, or will be given by January 20, 2019 due to government shut down. There is a huge possibility, No benefits will be given in February or moving forward until the Government re-opens. Everyone be mindful about grant funding programs(this may affect some jobs), IRS ( you can file taxes, but there is no telling when you will get your refunds.) Air travel will be affected due to lack of security. SSI recipients, Medicaid Programs, Payments to Veterans, And Medicare benefits will not be affected due to funding that was given before the 2019 fiscal year. People please start saving your money, take out money if you can instead of just depending on your debit cards( As banks can be affected), and you will be pi**ed if you go to your bank one day and cant get any money out, watch the foods you eat, as the FDA can't inspect most foods due to the lack of employees because of the government shut down. Prepare and be mindful of whats going on around you. Things can head for the worst in many American's lives due to this shut down business.
