I’ve been seeing a lot of summertime vacations, van travels, etc around visiting the Oregon Coast and it just reminds me how truly lucky I am that this is home🏡

Growing up, this is where I spent summer after summer. We never did theme parks (which I have to admit, as a kid, I was bummed about) but I’m so grateful my mom instilled a love for Autumn in Oregon and Summers on the Coast.

There truly is no place like home 🥹

Sometimes I hear a sound, a song, a quote, and it makes me think about a specific place. And often that place is Iceland.

Not only was this the most gorgeous place I’ve ever visited, it was extra special because I visited alone and that was a monumental experience for me.

From once being a girl who was afraid to go ANYWHERE alone, I became a girl who solo traveled and that was the best thing I ever could have done for myself; I proved just how capable I was and now I hope to encourage and inspire others to do the same.

You don’t NEED someone to enjoy life 🫶🏻

I’m a little behind on posting 🫣

But a couple weeks ago I visited New Orleans for the first time and it was SO much fun!

This was originally supposed to be a deadhead (fly as a passenger) to New Orleans and then work a flight right back. But our flight back was cancelled and we ended up with an 18 hour layover which I was VERY excited about!

The working crew on my deadhead flight was so fun and this was one of my favorite layovers I’ve had!

I was stoked to get beignets because up until this point I had only had the ones from Costco…which I have to admit are pretty dang good 😂

And the charbroiled oysters?! I mean 🤤🤤🤤

I can’t wait to come back here with my partner and wander the streets and stuff our faces!

My little Tulsa layover a couple weeks ago.

Forever finding cutsie things in unassuming places.

Even when it’s 102° outside. I refuse to sit in my hotel room and do nothing 😂 so instead I wander. And I found The Bob Dylan Center which I enjoyed very much

I have to admit, I was kind of excited when I got the trip because two things came to my mind: I grew up on musicals, so obviously Oklahoma! was my first thought so naturally I just assumed there would be people driving around in their surrey with the fringe on top and there would be rolling golden hills. That was not the case😂

And then there’s an episode of friends where Chandler accidentally agrees to move to Tulsa for his job and he comes home to tell Monica.
Monica: Tulsa Oklahoma?!
Chandler: The Sooner state…whatever THAT means! 😂

Anyway, this is your reminder to GO OUTSIDE and explore new places…even if those places are Tulsa 🫶🏻
