Day 2 was a wild one 😂 Dublin traffic is crazy and we ended up being late to our reservation at Trinity College, luckily they still let us in. 📚Fun fact, about 80% of the books have been removed because they are doing preservation and restoration. By 2026, ALL of the books will be removed and they will close the library for 3-4 years for additional preservation work within the walls and ceiling to protect from fires, etc. There are currently only 4 bays of books still there but it’s still so beautiful. They also had a digital exhibition that was pretty cool. We also visited the Dublin Castle 🏰🍒The cherry on top was paying €125 plus the €15 for parking and learning that “1” and “i” look exactly the same but apparently aren’t. Sounds like a “dumb American” problem but they were insanely rude and not accommodating with the confusion of us paying for parking under “YIG I579” when it was actually “YIG I579” 🤦♀️No warning or just a ticket, no. Full on ticket, giant sticker on the door, and a f*cking boot. They didn’t care we had proof that we paid for parking.Dublin is wild.
