Some nights, after the house finally exhales and the noise settles, I find her like this — soft, peaceful, completely unaware of how much she teaches me just by existing.

There’s something about watching your child sleep that pulls you right out of the chaos and drops you into the truth:
this is the whole reason.
The late nights, the early mornings, the messes, the worries, the stretching, the growing… all of it.

She’ll wake up tomorrow and run headfirst into the world again, but right now she’s just my little girl — safe, warm, and wrapped in a kind of magic only childhood knows.

Nothing about these moments falls short of magic to me. A whole car full of kids, all of them happy, all of them cheering on their baby sister as she sings Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee with every ounce of confidence she’s been loved into.

These are the memories I know I’ll ache for someday—the shared songs, the giggles bouncing between the seats, the way Willow shines a little brighter because she’s surrounded by her built‑in fan club. She’s learning, growing, thriving… and she’s doing it wrapped in love from every direction.

I’m so grateful that when life said no, we tried again. Because it gave us her. It gave us them. It gave us this tiny universe of joy in the backseat. And nothing about it will ever stop feeling like magic.

Weekends around here aren’t just busy… they’re a whole lifestyle. Dirt on our shoes, snacks in our pockets, schedules stacked to the sky — and somehow it’s still the best part of our week.

This is Corky’s first year as head coach for Orion’s team, my first year as team manager, and honestly… we jumped in headfirst with zero hesitation and full hearts. We’ve learned, grown, laughed, scrambled, and shown up for these kids in every way we know how.

And repping the Minnesota Twins this season? That was for my roots — for my sister, my niece, and the place that shaped so much of who I am. It made this season feel even more special.

I’m just so grateful for every parent, every kid, every coach, every moment. Thank you for growing with us, learning with us, and trusting us with your baseball babies. This season has been busy, wild, and absolutely unforgettable.⚾❤️
