The tiniest little beans in my house 🥰 Echo isn’t doing any better but she isn’t doing worse either. She voluntarily comes and hangs out on the bathroom cat tree when I take showers so I think she knows the steam helps. We are still waiting for the Chinese herbs prescribed by her Internal Medicine specialist to arrive from China and hoping they will help with the bleeding. We are still fundraising for her rhinoscopy and CT scan. If you’d like to help please click the link below!

My new sister is finally starting to like me enough for us to both cuddle with mom in bed at night and sometimes just the two of us during the day. She is still a little grumpy when she gets startled but she tells me using her words and not hurting me so I’m learning what she likes and doesn’t like pretty quickly and still feeling confident to try to get her to play sometimes!

Hey everyone! Can you help me and my mom out?

Anyone know how to get your blind cat to leave the poor vacuum alone? 😅 she keeps backing it into corners and attacking it until it literally tries to run away from her and she thinks it’s all great fun but I would like my floors to get cleaned lol

I do think it’s interesting though - if I was blind I think I would be much more tentative about things but Echo is absolutely fearless about everything. She’s also the most popular cat at the vet’s office - like literally a random tech popped into our room to talk to the Dr today and she was like “oh hi Echo!” - we’ve only seen that tech once but apparently she’s a memorable cat! 😂

Just in case you needed a full minute of a super cute blind kitty grabbing a dangling bat with all her little toesies 🥰

Echo has been patiently waiting in the bathroom for a week now for Marceline to settle down and be ok with her coming to explore the house, but Marceline is having a rough time still so I decided to get her a little cat tree so she can at least have some vertical space in here since it’s a big bathroom but a small space in general. Marceline has been starting to get curious and come to the door so that’s a good sign. We switched to an open door and a gate today so my hope is that we will be integrating soon! But this little girl has amazed me with every thi by she has done. She was a rockstar for the vet, and she is so competent at getting around that I swear she is hiding eyes somewhere! She is still pretty boogery - she is on Doxy to prevent any bacterial infections but the vet thinks that she is having a flare up of the herpes virus that took her eyes as a kitten and that all we can do is wait and try to keep her comfortable. Having her in the bathroom is actually kind of advantageous because it allows me to steam the room twice a day which has been helping tremendously! This is her first time seeing her new cat tree 🥰
