How to put the maelstrom of emotions, sights, tastes, human congress, sweat, joy, struggle, and grouse into words. I don’t have a solution for this problem. This last week has been a disorienting ride through time zones, airport terminals, van rides, and urban electricity, all shared with five of the most amazing people I have ever known, my bandmates in Agalloch and the two extraordinary humans who made it all possible, our outrageously talented sound engineer, sarah woods audio and our equally talented polymath tour manager, Nathan Carson who even managed to sneak in a reading at NecronomiCon Providence in the midst of it all.

Honor to play with: Barren Heir Obsidian Tongue Yellow Eyes Profanaticaofficial . Barren Heir very nearly leveled Thalia before we got the chance to take the stage. I watched Obsidian side stage and still can’t figure out how three people can make this sound. All three guys just assassin players. I have been a Yellow Eyes fanboy for years now and I totally embarrassed myself when I met them for the first time. MoonBladder told me so. As you all know, I am a curmudgeon and Yellow Eyes gave me hope for a future metal. And what is there to say about Profanatica. The SOUND alone! They turned in a punishing set that will live in my memory for some time. Thank you all for playing with us. We are honored and humbled!

It was so great to see my dear friend Ronnie Sanders and share a meal at Misi . And also had the privilege of meeting two old friends Greg Massi jon 💀
