Submission period for The POET’S DOMAIN Vol. 39
As You Like It is coming to a close soon -- July 31.
Hello Poets.
The theme(s) for The Poet’s Domain, Volume 39
As You Like It
It is a call to submit… whatever poems you like!
This volume will be open to up to 5 poems submitted per person on ANY topics they choose. Other guidelines are outlined below, but they are the same that have usually been in place.
The theme was inspired by the thought that it was time for the contributors to show what was important to them in their writing of late in terms of style, topic, personality, emotion, word choice … the wording came to mind: Show Us Your Art
Open to Poetry Society of Virginia members, Poet’s Domain Permanent Members, OR ANYONE living in Virginia, having business in Virginia, living on a state bordering Virginia, teleconferencing in to an event in Virginia or having lived or worked in Virginia in the past – that’s a wide net. If you’re not sure you qualify, but you’re seeing this, you probably do.
Poets may submit up to 5 poems on the theme above as attached word files to [email protected]. Title the email Poet’s Doman 39. You may, if you wish, write in the email about how you feel your submissions fit the theme, but it is not necessary. You may include the poems in the body of the email, but it is not necessary. Upon receiving the email you will receive acknowledgment and invoice for the reading fee, which is $5 Per Poem.
