Reminder about The Poet's Domain - Submissions close August 31 this year, and if you're worried about what to write towards there are TEN prompts to choose from. Like so:
► Reconciling With the Other – whatever you call other, part of yourself, your partner, the world - wherever disagreement needs process
► Serendipity - occurrence of events by chance or accident resulting in beneficial or happy situations.
► At (pick an age) I did, am doing, will do
► I Wish - what would you say as your one wish to make (what do you want to do/be/have)? bonus - continue on to the outcome
► Over the Moon - whatever that means to you.
► Echoes of the past that will go into the future
► Under the Weather - whatever that means for you.

So, like Thursday (7-23) I'll be doing a session of Writing Poetry With Teech! Fairgrounds NFK 1 - 7 pm

THEN on the 25th I'll be helping out with Kylie Love's book release for Mirrors from 1-3 pm at Wands Books! (2501 Fawn, Norfolk) AND THEN
Running over to the The Muse Writers Center to run the The Norfolk Word-Art Show! from 7-?? Still Norfolk. 2200 Colonial #3

For those not acquainted with WPw/T! here follows the main idea:
The idea: getting to completion on poetry this past couple of years is hard -- harder for many of the best writers even than they're used to. SO...
Writing Poems with TEECH! I'll set up at *a place* with my journals of unfinished poetry and a couple of reference books and open them all up for you to peruse; I encourage you (anyone) to come with your poetry journals/ideas/drafts and maybe open yours up to others as well -- to see if we can't bring some draft or fragment poems to completion. No, not to "bite", but to seek some inspiration, suggestions... nudges to get creative juices flowing. We can also bring binder clips as ways for your to block off sections of a journal for private stuff if you want to share without feeling compromised. (No one will require you to show any of a journal if you just don't want to, though).

I shall be vending at the Wandering Book Caravan market at New Realm in Harborview on August 23. I represent as both an author and as a publisher so I will have as many of the 160-odd titles Wider Perspectives has published as I can in the space allowed.
Mostly local authors -- the most local authors !!!
