One of the biggest questions I get about buying meat in bulk is, **“How do you keep it from getting freezer burned?”**

My answer: a vacuum sealer! 🙌

I use this thing ALL the time—not just for raw meat, but for cooked meals and leftovers too!

For example, this week my son smoked **2 pork butts and a turkey**. We ate what we wanted, then I divided the rest into meal-size portions, vacuum sealed them, and put them in the freezer.

Now, on a busy night, I can pull out a package and have an easy meal without having to cook from scratch! 👏

Between buying meat in bulk, meal prepping, and saving leftovers, this little machine gets a WORKOUT around here. 😂

Y’all… my coffee brain has been operating on a full delay for the last 12 hours! ☕️😂

Last night, I set the pot up for my husband’s morning coffee and accidentally hit brew at MIDNIGHT instead of delay brew. Then this morning when I went to make my own, I hit delay brew instead of brew… and proudly poured myself a nice, hot cup of NOTHING. 🤦‍♀️

Oh well! I’ve got my mushroom coffee now, and it is absolutely beautiful outside. Tell me I’m not the only one who’s had a morning like this? 😆✨️☕️

♥️🇺🇸We were stationed in Washington state on 9/11, and the fear and uncertainty that day was something I’ll never forget.

My dad made his first-ever long-distance phone call that day.

After hearing about the terrorist attacks, he called my mom, got my number, and called to make sure I was okay. He told me, “If you need me, I’ll be there.” And if Mark got called in, Dad said he would come get me and my son.

We were 2,224 miles away.

But to my dad, that didn’t matter. If I needed him, he was coming.

My dad has always been my safety net. The person I knew would come if I called, no matter how far away I was.

And if you know, you know... there are some parts of pur story I just don’t talk about on here. But that phone call is something I’ll never forget. ❤️🇺🇸
