Hello everyone! I am the current editor in chief of Green Mountain College's student written, student led newspaper, The Mountaineer. We have, in the past year plus, made leaps and bounds towards becoming a viable and important source of news for the student body.

That being said, we cannot exist without participation and content from YOU, GMC students! Please feel free to submit science articles, social justice articles, photos of events, or videos. In particular, in light of the raising of the Black Lives Matter flag and the community conversation that took place after, we are looking specifically for people of color to share their voices, reactions and experiences to this and other issues on campus. That being said -- allies, this is your time to voice support as well! Feel free to message any thoughts, feelings, questions or concerns, here or via email at [email protected].

I encourage you to check out our website at mountaineer4.wixsite.com/themountaineer -- and keep your eyes open for our next print edition, coming soon! Enjoy your long weekend!
