📖 Chapter 43.

This year isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about creating a life that feels intentional, joyful, and fully mine.

I’m reading more, moving more, protecting my peace, and learning that growth doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful.

Here’s to Chapter 43—the chapter where I keep choosing myself, one page at a time. ✨

I love romance, and these tropes have me hooked every single time. Include one of them, and I’m already leaning toward a 4-star rating. Give me a satisfying HEA, and we’re looking at 5 stars. 💖

This haul has a little bit of everything, which is exactly how I like my reading life:

🔪 You’re Next by Kylie Schachte – YA thriller vibes and a mystery I’m ready to unravel.

🎭 The Girls I’ve Been by Tess Sharpe – cons, secrets, and high-stakes drama? Say less.

💕 The Art of Catching Feelings by Alicia Thompson – because every stack needs a romance that makes you smile.

💍 The Chaperone by M. Hendrix – the premise hooked me immediately, and I’m going in blind.

🐉 Monster and the Last Blood Match by K.A. Linde – fantasy, monsters, and chaos? Adding it to my personality as we speak.

📖 Which one should I read first?

📚✨ This week’s reading mood was all over the place—and I loved every second of it.

One minute I was knee-deep in secrets, betrayal, and revenge with The Spiral Key. The next, I was wrapped up in all the cozy feelings, forced proximity, and friends-to-lovers goodness in What a Match.

A thriller + romance combo might just be my favorite reading balance:
🔪 Chaos for the plot
💛 Kicking my feet for the romance

Current reading status: emotionally confused, thoroughly entertained.

What’s your reading mood this week—thriller, romance, fantasy, or a little bit of everything? 📖⬇️

📚✨ It’s time for another This or That ✨📚

This round, I’m comparing a few books I’ve finished so far this year and sharing some read-alikes you might want to add to your TBR!

💕 And Now, Back to You ➡️ Love and Other Brain Experiments

If you love tension, banter, and that irresistible push-and-pull dynamic, these rivals-to-lovers romances are worth checking out.

💌 Welcome to Temptation ➡️ P.S. You’re the Worst

Both feature female main characters whose lives are turned upside down after one bad decision leads to major consequences. Expect growth, chaos, and plenty of entertaining moments along the way.

🕵🏾‍♀️🍽️ Baking a Murder ➡️ Death by Dumpling

For my cozy mystery lovers! If you enjoy food-centered mysteries, suspicious deaths, and amateur sleuths who somehow end up looking like the prime suspect, these books belong on your reading list.

Have you read any of these? Which pair are you choosing? 👇🏾📖

The staycation is a success so far. Two days of actually listening to my body, resting, and sleeping did wonders because I finally feel refreshed.

Also wrapped up another round of 75Booked. Definitely not as successful as my first round, but we still got it done: 8 physical books, 4 audiobooks, 6 ARCs, and 5 ebooks finished.

Now it’s time to gear up for the next cycle because these shelves are still looking real heavy 😭
Current totals:
📚 202 physical books
🎧 195 audiobooks
📝 60 ARCs
📱 350 ebooks

Let’s see where I’m at by the next round.
