Tonight, Friday, September 5th, at 7 PM MST (Phoenix time), we will meet again for our next youth and young adult English language Bible Hour (which really is open to all ages interested), hosted by Elke Speliopoulos from St. Mary’s Syriac Orthodox Church of Arizona كنيسة مريم العذراء في اريزونا and blessed by His Eminence Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan. Tonight, in our youth and young adult Bible study, I talked about the poor widow’s two small coins she gave to the temple treasury in Mark 12:41-44. Here is what these “widow’s mites” look like.

Assyria conquered the northern kingdom in 722 BC. The Babylonian Empire conquered the southern kingdom in 586 BC. It's been a long week. 🤦‍♀️
