Update on the 350 Daedalus.
This this thing is a tougher project than I initially thought. Instead of just wrapping it like a globe, I'm doing each panel. Then I'll have some piece to go between the panels. My purpose is to give modelers the option to handle the "valleys" as they wish. Personally, I think I just hit them with a light application of panel liner. But some folks may want more.
The head is done. I'll the rest of the pieces installed an do a pic. I need to tweak some "seaming" and some pieces needs a tone down. Overall, though,.. I like it. Its coming together. What you see here will be the dark version. There will be two lighter versions. I'll be printing and fitting the pieces for the secondary hull tomorrow. Again,.. each large panel and the spaces in between.
Annnddd,. don't let any lumps and bumps you see throw you off on that pic. I did a poor job filling the windows. I'm goin to pull the decals and redo the whole thing when I'm finished with the panels.
