Well that was a wrap for our first grass race. The goal was to get Alexus advanced with the Isr, get her some well needed seat time at this level of racing and to come out and learn. We accomplished that. Alexus did good but really didn’t settle in at the tree until her last race on Saturday when she finally cut a decent light. She handled the sled flawlessly and we all got familiar with the process. Sled ran great down low for a stock 600 consistently in the mid 1.3s with a best 60’ of 1.29. But we are fighting the big end. I believe we might have figured it out time will tell. The goal for hay days is to come out get her more seat time, hopefully improve the sled and just learn something. It is gonna take us a bit to get to the level we need to be but we will get there!!
