Global China Connection (GCC) is a nonprofit organization for university students of all nationalities looking to engage China’s emergence as a global power. GCC connects future leaders from all nations and assists them in developing the skills and friendships necessary to succeed both in China and internationally. There are no other organizations in the world that can boast such a wide and deep network between Chinese and outside students, institutions, and companies. Every year, we sponsor an ever greater number of local, regional, national, and international events. Whether attending events, hosting delegations, writing research papers, or having a heated discussion over coffee, every interaction between our members connects China and the world, building a network of leaders who will shape the future.
Those are examples of events GCC Princeton has done:
- Discussion series on U.S.-China current news, film screenings, study breaks
- Dinner and panel talks with professionals in U.S. and China
- Roundtable discussions with professors and journalists
- Trips to NYC for conferences, social/networking events with other GCC
- Meeting students from GCC chapters in China
- Internship opportunities in China

Are you taking a Chinese language class right now? Do you want to work in China in the future? Did you go to PIB and still want to keep up those Chinese language skills? Or do you just want to connect with someone from a different country with a whole new perspective on life?

We want to share with you the launch of our Chinese Exchange Pen Pal Program. Exchange emails with fellow undergraduates living in China attending top universities in China such as Peking University and Tsinghua University. Whether you have just started learning Chinese or have had years of experience, this is a wonderful opportunity to practice your Chinese language skills or learn more about the culture. You can communicate in English, Chinese, or a combination of both.

If you are interested in being paired up with another student, fill out our survey link below by Dec. 15th so we can begin matching. We already have more than 50 Chinese university students interested and still have a few spots left for Princeton students!
