BYB Pictures is a video production company founded in 2016 servicing Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and more. We hold a passion for creative storytelling through digital media and pride ourselves on always being honest and putting people first. We enjoy learning from everyone we interact with, and continuing to get better with each and every project we create.
BYB Pictures is going to look a bit different moving forwards. 7 years after founding BYB with Mark and Howard in 2016, Bruce is off on a new adventure. His contributions to the creation and management of this business cannot be understated - and as two of his best friends, we’re sad to see him go, but are excited to see what he’ll do next. BYB is still carrying on strong with Mark and Howard at the helm, and excited for more opportunities to create work we’re proud of.
The 2nd Episode of our BYB Produced Docu-Series AVP Uncovered: Best of the Beach premieres TONIGHT at 8pm EST! We're exceptionally proud of how this series turned out, and are so thankful to the athletes involved for letting us into their lives for these brief moments in time - tonight's episode is a really special look at two of the brightest young stars in the sport of beach volleyball playing in their very first professional event.

We were SO humbled and fortunate to be able to spend the days leading up to their first AVP event with Taryn and Kristen (and their coach Drew). This team is incredible, their work ethic, attitudes, drive, everything, we’re big fans. So excited we were on hand for their first AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour tournament and WIN as we filmed for AVP Uncovered: Life on the AVP Tour - excited for this project to progress!
13 days to go as we work to raise funds needed to support this exciting documentary project we're working on! We've been working with the AVP and athletes for months to get everything in order for production next month during the season. We're so excited to share this short documentary with you. "Committed: Surfing the Northeast" tells the story of one surfer who grew up in California surfing some of the best waves in the world before moving to the East coast, and how surfing continues to be a huge part of his life.
Something totally different for the 30th day of our - we wanted to see how quickly we could build suspense with just a few shots and a bit of dialogue. Very different for us, but I think we accomplished what we were going for!
For the 29th day of our we decided to make a spec ad for TOYOTA right in our neighborhood. Check it out now!

Coming up with a new idea every day for 21 days for our has been tough, so this morning we took the time to re-evaluate our concept development process. Working from home allows us to be flexible in our meeting spaces and an hour conversation in the living room today was great.
On the 21st day of our we decided to experiment with the possibilities of underwater video. Using a fish tank, a variety of lighting, and our kitchen as a production studio this short video shows some of our favorite clips!
In thinking about expanding our services we ran a mini experiment with green screen yesterday - being able to place a product anywhere and manipulate it in post-production is so important for short social content!
