Beautiful beach day with my family.

As I sat back and watched the waves crash, I felt something I don’t always stop long enough to recognize — gratitude.

Gratitude not just for the good times but for the hard ones too.

Because if I’m honest, the hard times were the chapters that shaped me.
Struggle is the easy part. What’s hard is choosing to keep fighting when it feels like nothing’s changing.
What’s hard is holding on to hope when you don’t see the outcome yet.

But right there, under the shade of our beach tent, I saw my reason.
He was lying there, listening to the waves, feeling the breeze, perfectly at peace.

That little guy is my reminder that all the tough seasons pass and sometimes the greatest rewards come wrapped in the tiniest packages.

This moment, this view, this quiet breath of peace — it makes every setback, every late night, every hard decision worth it.

Keep going. You never know what kind of miracle you’re being prepared for.

Being a dad and running a business at the same time is one of the hardest things I've ever done, but also one of the most meaningful.

Every day comes with a mix of fear, excitement, and doubt. There are moments when I feel like giving up. But then I get to pause, give my child a bath, tuck them in, hear them laugh—and it reminds me why I’m doing this.

To all the dads out there building something from scratch while still being present at home, I see you. You're not alone in how you're feeling.

You don’t need a cape to be a hero. Just keep showing up. Your kids already see you as one.

Here I was on a video call with my little princess, and somehow our chat turned into a mini “track and field” session 😂 She got down, practiced her running stance, and then zoomed around the house like she was in her own Olympics.

She may not be winning any medals yet, but honestly, she’s already a champion because she’s always running through my mind and my heart. ❤️

It’s the simple, silly moments like these that make distance feel just a little shorter.

I spy with my little eyes... a world that’s full of wonder.

Today, my son reminded me of something simple but powerful. To him, everything is fresh, new, and full of possibility. A leaf on the ground isn’t just a leaf—it’s treasure. A crack on the sidewalk is an adventure. A puddle? Basically the ocean.

Watching him explore reminded me that the world around us becomes bigger and more beautiful when we slow down and see it through a child’s eyes. No limits. No stress. Just curiosity and imagination.

It’s wild how much our kids can teach us without even trying.

Today’s lesson? Wonder is everywhere. You just have to be willing to look for it.

Today my son and I decided to make steak and eggs for the family. I want my little guy to learn how to be self-sufficient early 😆☀️.

We even made a deal to clean up while we cooked, teaching him that we don’t waste a single second while we’ve got it. Of course, we also took the time to treat ourselves with some iced coffee. (In our house, we run on Dunkin!)

The end result? Breakfast came out great. It wasn’t the easiest doing it with a growing baby boy hanging on to you, but honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. We all carry so much on our minds, but moments like this remind me to pause, be present, and just enjoy the people I love most.

My partner likes steak on the more well-done side, and I think I nailed it just right for both of us. Such a simple, meaningful way to start the day.

Currently reading 30 Lessons for Living for our book club and it’s honestly such a meaningful book.

It’s filled with life lessons from older adults who’ve gone through the same stages many of us are navigating like marriage, career choices, raising kids, facing loss, and figuring out what it really means to live a happy life.

What makes it special is how real and grounded the advice is. These are people who’ve lived through tough seasons like illness, grief, and big life changes and still found joy, purpose, and clarity.

Every chapter feels like sitting with someone who’s been there and is gently sharing what they’ve learned. If you’re looking for honest wisdom about living well this is a great one to pick up.

She was so over it. 😂

Didn’t want to be on the phone with me anymore. Gave me the classic “Dad, I’m done” look and tapped out mid-call.

Moments like this make me laugh, but they also hit me in the heart. Because no matter how many meetings I’ve had or how long the day’s been, this is the face I want to come back to.

Even when she’s annoyed with me.
Even when it’s just for a few seconds on a screen.

Being a parent while leading and building something isn’t always clean or balanced—but moments like these remind me what matters most. This is the “why” behind the work. The reason to keep showing up, adjusting, and learning every day.

Yesterday while cooking for my family, something hit me — cooking really does teach you a lot about life.

I’ve made chili plenty of times before, but every time I find myself either trying to tweak it just a little bit… or realizing I forgot something. 😅
Still, I love the process — watching all the vibrant colors blend together, filling the kitchen with this comforting aroma. There's beauty in that.

At one point, the color looked off and for a second, I thought I messed it up. But I reminded myself: it’s not done yet. So I kept going.

A sprinkle of garlic powder…
A tablespoon each of oregano, paprika, black pepper, turmeric, and parsley 🌿
A pinch (or maybe more 👀) of salt.
Then came the cilantro, bay leaves, and a little nudge from my tiny co-chef to add more dark chili seasoning. 🌞

And just like that, the pot transformed — the color deepened, the smell shifted, and it became exactly what I had in mind (and honestly, maybe even better).

That moment reminded me: just because things don’t look right yet, doesn’t mean they won’t come together.
Trust the process.
Be patient.
Give yourself permission to adjust as you go.

Oh — and yes, I paused mid-stir to feed my little twin. He’s always close by, watching, learning, and throwing in his own seasoning suggestions. 😂 He's got my back like I’ve got his. 💛

That’s my beautiful sunshine right there. ☀️

One of the biggest reasons I push myself to be better is because of him.

When you’re lucky enough to love someone unconditionally, and you wake up each morning with a reason to show up, just for another chance to see your little ball of sunshine… that changes everything.

Fatherhood is the purest kind of love I’ve ever known. I genuinely love every part of it.

There’s nothing better.

If you’re a dad too, embrace it. Soak in every messy, beautiful, unforgettable moment. You won’t regret it.

This quote hit me right in the gut.

I paused for a while after reading it and really asked myself: Am I truly living with purpose? Am I moving through life with passion, or have I just settled into the motions?

The highlighted line—“The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation”—felt way too familiar. It made me think about how easy it is to chase after comfort, money, or status, thinking those things are what life is all about… only to miss out on the moments that actually make life meaningful.

We forget we’re here for more. We’re here to serve a purpose, to grow, to create, and to leave something good behind. Not just to exist.

What’s funny is that I read Walden and Beyond during my first year of college. Back then, I didn’t get it at all. I honestly couldn’t figure out why we were assigned to read this book. But now—almost 15 years later—it finally makes sense. Thoreau wasn’t just writing about nature or isolation. He was inviting us to wake up. To live more simply, more intentionally, and more honestly.

So I wanted to share this in case you needed the reminder too: your life has meaning. You were never meant to live it quietly desperate. You were made to live it fully alive.
